If you are prone to motion sickness, take seasickness medication before the tour and follow the package instructions for timing. We do not carry medication on board.

Questions about this charter

Where do you snorkel?

On the rocky reef along the coast between Punta Quepos and Punta Catedral, in the sheltered water off Manuel Antonio. It is close in and calm enough for beginners.

Is snorkeling equipment included?

Yes. Masks, snorkels and fins are included and come in a range of sizes. Tell us if you need a childrens' set.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

No. The water is calm, you can stay close to the boat, and the crew keep an eye on everyone. If you would rather stay on board and watch, that is fine too.

Why go in the morning rather than at sunset?

Visibility. The water is clearest in the morning before the wind gets up, which is why the snorkeling trip runs at 8:00am and 9:00am while the same cruise runs for the sunset in the afternoon.
