The application asks for passport and personal details, so you buy your own rather than us doing it for you. Buy it online before you travel, or at the INCOPESCA office at Marina Pez Vela on the morning of your charter. Give yourself a few minutes before departure if you are doing it at the marina. See the FAQ for how to get one.
Questions about this charter
What is the difference between inshore and offshore fishing?
Inshore means fishing close to the coast, over rock and reef, for species like roosterfish, snapper and snook. Offshore means running out to deep blue water for billfish and tuna. Inshore is shorter, calmer and cheaper, and it is where the roosterfish live.
Is a half day long enough to catch something?
Yes. The fishing grounds are close, so almost all four hours are spent fishing rather than traveling. Roosterfish are active year-round here.
Is the half day charter good for families with children?
It is the trip we recommend for families. Four hours, calmer water close to shore, and plenty happening. Tell us the childrens' ages and the crew will pitch the day accordingly.
Will I get seasick on an inshore trip?
You are far less likely to than offshore, because you stay closer to land in more sheltered water. If you are prone to it, take medication before you board.
